By default, only one instance of each job is allowed to be run at the same time. Make sure the previous run has finished. WebIf the latter, just write Django management commands that call your tasks, and then schedule cronjobs which invoke the commands. Way simpler and no need for a third party solution which might depend on redis/rabbitmq etc. Don't need a task queue for this. It's a perfect application for a management command and cron.
