It is run as a bed & breakfast and event center by a dedicated board of directors. Lynn is the manager, and Samantha was our informative & gracious host. WebFor decades, the former Harvey House continued life as a freight depot. After the Slaton operation closed, the building sat unused until 1990, when it was to be demolished. At the last moment, locals gravitated to the potential loss and managed to save the Slaton Harvey House. Today, guests are treated to a luxurious time-travel experience.
